Funeral services for Rhonda Kay Wright, 65, will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment with a graveside will take place at 1:00 p.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Cemetery, LA Hwy. 1218 in Noble, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Ray Smith.

Rhonda Kay Wright passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at 3:38 p.m. surrounded by family. Rhonda was born on November 9, 1959, in Houston Texas to J.G. and Ella Mae Smith of Alice, Texas. Rhonda devoted her life to caring for family.

Her death was preceded by both her parents, and her younger sister, Betty Jean Smith of Alice, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Wright of Shreveport Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Randal Contario of Shreveport Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Kathy Smith of Alice, Texas, brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Judy Smith of Cedar Hill Texas; nieces, Miranda Rodrigues and (Nathan) of Round Rock Texas, Whitney Knode and (Christopher) of Weatherford Texas; nephews, Dennis Matthew and (Lori) of Frisco Texas, Brandon Smith and (Brandi) of Liberty Hill Texas, Collin Smith of Stephenville, Texas; and great-nieces, Sydney Kirk and (Walker), Kyla Arnold and (Johnathan); and great-nephews, Jacob, Jackson, and Easton.

Honoring Rhonda as pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Collin Smith, Jarmon Hicks, Nate Rodrigues, Makan Morris, Steven Smith, and Ace Head “Skeeter.” Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Rodrigues, Easton Knode, Luke Wright, Noah Wright, Jeff Wright, Chris Knode, Jacob Smith, and Dennis Matthew.
