SHREVEPORT, LA - A funeral service will be held for Richard "Rick" Cloud, 63, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. The Cloud family invites those who attend Rick's visitation and service to wear jeans if they wish. Rick was born on April 8, 1952 in Mansfield, LA to Bernis and Garland Lucille Cloud. He passed away on September 4, 2015. He worked for SRP Environmental Services. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Julia Cloud, son Kevin and his wife, Regina, daughter Jennifer and her husband, Jerry, grandchildren Kaden, Loren, Rebecca, Madelyn, Christine, and Kaitlyn, sisters Glynda McAllister and her husband, John, Carolyn Haworth and her husband, Wendell, and Dianne Lazarus, brother Wayne Cloud and his wife, Vickie and numerous nieces and nephews . Honoring Rick as pallbearers will be Jim Hays, Bryan Stevens, Keith Cloud, Keith Sampson, Matthew McAllister, and Anthony Lazarus.
