Richard C. McDearmont

BOSSIER CITY, LA - A visitation for Richard Clinton McDearmont, 77, will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Richard died Monday, September 15, 2014 after a sudden illness. Richard was a long-time employee of Riley Beaird, served in the United States Army and was currently working as a Project and Construction Manager for Tinsley Consulting Group in Hot Springs, AR. Richard was the youngest of 11 children and is preceded in death by his parents, Florence and W.F. McDearmont and siblings, William E. McDearmont, Charlie McDearmont, Mary Coen, Katie Bain, and Ruth Bower. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Robbie Grappe McDearmont; siblings, Clarence L. McDearmont, J.F. McDearmont, Thomas, L. McDearmont and wife, Johnnie, Valeria Mitchell and husband, D.E., Virginia Mayeux; sisters-in-law, Janie McDearmont and Shirley Eiland; brother-in-law, Rex Bain and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks for the exceptional care and compassion shown by Dr. Basel Kasabali, Dr. Ronald Lambert, Dr. San Pedro, the ER and SICU staff of WK Bossier and the Bossier Parish EMS and Sheriff's Department. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana United Methodist Children's Home.
