Richard Lee Miller

Funeral services for Richard Lee Miller will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Pastor Cedrick P. Johnson and Pastor Nathan Richardson  officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 Saturday prior to the service.

Richard was born July 8, 1955, in Killeen, Texas and entered into rest October 29, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana. He served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Sarran Miller; sister, Dottie Pope; and brother, Felix Miller, Jr..

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lucille Delaney Miller; sons, Steven A. Miller, Chris Carlisle, and Preston D. Miller; daughters, Amanda McCain, Dawn Miller, and Charity Corbit; sisters, JoAnn Ray, Susie Day, and Patricia Stinson; brothers, Jessie Miller, James Miller, Donald Smith, and Lee Smith; eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joey Brazzle, Jeffrey Brazzle, Amos Delaney, Willie Delaney, John Kennon, Eli Maddox, Devron Carley, Fred Venus, Chris Bowers, and Tyler Bowers.
