Richard R. Phillips

Funeral services honoring the life of Richard "Dick" Phillips will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father John Paul Crispin assisted by Deacon Bill Kleinpeter. A visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana, a Vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow. Interment will be held at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. Richard was born on July 30, 1936, in Enid, Oklahoma to Raymond and Mary Phillips. He entered into rest on Sunday, July 11, 2021, in Mansfield, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years, Gayle Phillips; daughter-in-law, Tammie Rambin Phillips. Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Tony Phillips of Baton Rouge, LA and Richie Phillips and wife, Gina of Stonewall, LA; daughters, Kim Lee and husband, Kenneth and Missy Faust and husband, Greg of Mansfield, LA; sister, Jean Harris McElroy of Mansfield, LA; brothers, Jim Phillips (Smiley) and wife Kitty of Spring, TX and Terry Phillips and wife Hope of Cypress, TX; along with nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Honoring Mr. Phillips as pallbearers will be Travis Bedsole, Mike Cooke, Cody Lackey, Beau Phillips, Britt Hargett and Blake Hargett. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Jacob Phillips.
