Richard L. Pullman

Funeral services for Richard L. Pullman will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Minden, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Woodard Cemetery in Taylor, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. prior to a rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Ricky was born December 16, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas and entered into rest June 25, 2023, in Minden, Louisiana. Ricky was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Minden where he was involved in the A.C.T.S. group, served as an Eucharistic minister, usher, as well as a member of Friends of Faith. Ricky enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandson, Grayson. He also enjoyed watching Grayson play football, baseball, basketball, and swimming. Ricky was looking forward to spending time with his new grandchild as well.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Pullman, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Pullman of Minden; daughters, Britney Avery (Cody) of Minden and Claudia Haynes (Coltan) of Minden; sister, Karen Brinkley (Michael) of Minden; brothers Johnny Pullman (Linda) of Ada Taylor and David Pullman of Minden; grandchild Grayson Avery; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The pallbearers will be Shane Purvis, Tim Purvis, Mark White, Spencer White, Jacob White, Darius Davis, and James Culpepper.

Honorary pallbearers will be Grayson Avery, Cody Avery, Coltan Haynes, Chris Purvis, and Jeremy Pullman.
