Richard "Ricky" H. Evans, Sr.

CONVERSE, LA - A memorial service honoring the life of Richard "Ricky" H. Evans, Sr., 71, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Rose-Neath's Chapel in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Chucky Clark and Rev. Glenn Bezerra officiating. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Mansfield Funeral Home on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. Ricky was born March 18, 1947, in Converse, LA to Lillian Krousel and S.B. Evans, Sr. and entered into rest on April 11, 2018, in Converse, LA. Ricky lived his entire life in Converse. He was a well-known businessman in the area and a loyal family man. Preceding Ricky in death were his parents, and B.G. Lewis. Those left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Rachel Evans of Converse, LA; son, Richard H. Evans, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; two daughters, Teri Lea Evans of Austin, TX, and Toni Ann Evans and Brad Dudley of Dallas, TX; brother, Sidney "Sonny" Evans, Jr. and wife Evelyn of Natchitoches, LA; grandchildren, Sela Hinkhouse and Samuel Hinkhouse; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Sid B. Evans, III, Allen Evans, John Evans, Samuel Hinkhouse, Brad Dudley, Cecil Sepulvado, Ernest Ebarb, Blake Mayo, Wayne Childress, Brian Hogan and Patrick Hogan.
