Ricky Dale Gwin, Sr.

KEITHVILLE, LA - Funeral services for Ricky Dale Gwin, Sr., 62, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Rose-Neath Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at NWLA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville. Rev. McKee Williams will officiate. The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Rose-Neath from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Ricky was born on July 30, 1953 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Thomas Gwin and Wanda Cotner Holbrook and passed away on September 22, 2015. Ricky proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Little Debbie as a Confections Salesman. Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Gwin. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Linda Gwin; his three sons, Ricky Dale Gwin II, Billy Ray Gwin and Rodney Allen Gwin and his wife, Rebecca; brothers, Donnie Gwin, Thomas Gwin, Jr., and Charles Michael Gwin; grandchildren, Ricky Dale Gwin III, Austin Lee Gwin, Chad Dillan Gwin, Destiny Gail Gwin, Samantha Trintity Gwin, Laine Marie Gwin and Rodney Allen Gwin, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Ricky Dale Gwin IV and Alexis Rene Gwin; step-grandchildren, Michael Cody Lee, and Brittany Victoria Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Honoring Ricky as pallbearers will be Travis Mitchell, Billy Ball, Thomas Gwin, Cody Gwin, Jacob Ball, and Ricky Gwin III. Ricky will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
