Riecke Wayne Buras

A Memorial Service honoring the life of Riecke Wayne Buras, 63, will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Reverend Tom Brown. Riecke was born on November 13, 1957 in Buras, Louisiana to Wayne and Jerrund Buras and passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Riecke was a Sales Leader with Pepsico in Shreveport for 11 years. He loved his job and coworkers. He was a people person and was always there for his friends and family. To know Riecke, was to love him. He will be truly missed. He is survived by his parents; wife, Lestine Barnett; daughter, Ashlee Buras; sons, Rickey Lane and wife, Shirley and Brian Lane; sisters, Brenda Cunningham and husband, Fred and Debra Raines; grandchildren, Tanner Lane and Kaiden Ray; niece, Kailee Aromy and nephews, Daniel Cunningham and Michael Cunningham. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Pepsico in Shreveport. To honor Riecke's memory, the family suggest to please get your COVID vaccination.
