Rita Ann Bolgiano

Funeral services honoring the life of Rita Ann Foshee Bolgiano will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 05, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Stanley, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Richard Tull. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 p.m. until service time. Rita was born on May 28, 1949 in Logansport, Louisiana to WC & Lois Foshee. She entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2020 in Waskom, Texas. She was a homemaker and a granny to everyone after her retirement. She graduated from Northwestern State University where she went on to be a teacher in the public school system. Rita is preceded by her parents, WC & Lois Foshee. Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughters, Jena McCullough of Waskom, Texas and Ami Giles of Wasilla, Alaska; brothers, Clyde Foshee, Jimmy Foshee and Michael Foshee; sisters, Evelyn Murray, Norma Miller, Linda Girouard & Pat Wardell; 5 grandchildren, Alyssa Shankle & husband Jared, Whitney Shaw, Riley Anne McLellan Connor McLellan and Evan Jean. 4 great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Beau, Gunnar & Novelee Shankle; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Honoring Rita as pallbearers are Whitney Shaw, Barney Shaw, Pete Wardell, Greg Burns, Rusty Hatcher, Daniel Hatcher, Connor McLellan, and Evan Jean. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her brothers, Clyde, Jimmy & Michael Foshee.
