Rita Ann Pepper

HOMER, LA: Memorial services were held for Rita Ann Pepper, 62, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Rita was born May 26, 1953 in El Dorado, Arkansas to James E. and Helen Simpson Pepper. She entered into rest Monday, September 14, 2015 at her home in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Rita was a 1971 graduate of Southland Academy in Dubach. She was the production manager at Louisiana Tech with 26 years of service in the journalism department. Rita was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Maher (Boyd) of North Little Rock, AR; three grandchildren, Dalton, Maggie and Jessie Maher; three brothers, Randall Pepper (Rocky) of Homer, Darrell Pepper (Susan) of Summerfield and Paul Pepper (Melissa) of Farmerville; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. For friends considering memorials honoring Rita, her family suggests the Gideon's International or the Louisiana Tech Athletic Association.
