Robbie Hicks Allgood, age 80, beloved wife, mother, friend, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with her Lord on February 8, 2018. Robbie was born May 7, 1937 in Ruston, La.
Robbie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Reginald F. Allgood, her daughter, Toni Wright, son-in-law Craig Wright, two grandsons, Matthew Wright and his wife Chelsea Wright and Christopher Wright; her son David Allgood, daughter-in-law Cyd Allgood and granddaughter Caitlin Allgood Stearns and her husband Adam Stearns and a great granddaughter, Vivien Wright, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Robbie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Benton, La., and prior to that was a member of the United Methodist Church of Summerfield, La., where she lived for 29 years.
Robbie had a smile that could light up the night sky and a personality to match. She was a loving, caring wife, mother and friend to everyone and had many cherished friends whom she loved dearly.
May Robbie's legacy of boundless happiness and love for life be eternal, and her love for all who cared for her never be lost.
A graveside service will be officiated by Reverend Johnny Adkins at the Summerfield Cemetery in Summerfield, La. on Saturday, February 17, at 2:00 pm.
