Robbie Jean Morgan

Graveside services for Robbie Jean Speights Morgan, 88, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Robbie was born the youngest of seven on April 3, 1929 to Robert and Minnie Speights and passed away on January 12, 2018 in Shreveport. She was an avid churchgoer, wonderful cook, and a loving mother and grandmother whose house was always full. Robbie will be remembered best for her strong will and spirited personality and will be sorely missed. Robbie was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Morgan; son, Randy Morgan; daughter, Deinna Edwards; and great-grandson, Matthew Kirkhart. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Danny Morgan and wife Mattie; granddaughters, Angela Morgan, Stacy Waters and husband Stan, Lindsay Haley; grandsons, Danny Morgan, Jr. and wife Crystal, Robbie Carroway and wife Alicia; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan, Gabbie, Nicholas, Raylie, Rhyson, Mason, Braelynn, Maddox, and London. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and loving caregivers at Azalea Estates and the Chateau at Monte Claire.
