Robert Anthony Amis

Memorial services for Robert Anthony Amis, 61, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Brother Bob Moore officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Robert was born January 6, 1957 in New Orleans, LA and went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He loved bowling, cheering on the Saints, and watching all sports. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Murray Amis. Left to cherish his memory are brother, Keith Amis; sister, Helen Amis; and mother, Katie Amis. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Sterling Ray Giddens, Michael Ryan Atkins, and Mattie Giddens. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Kahna and the staff at WK Pierremont.
