Robert L. Dickerson

A funeral service celebrating the life of Robert Lee Dickerson, 77, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2019 at New Freedom Fellowship Church with Reverend Dean Hillman officiating. Interment will follow in New Freedom Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-10:00 on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel. Robert was born on December 31, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Arthur and Lena Dickerson and passed away July 10, 2019 in Bossier City, Louisiana. During his life, Mr. Dickerson worked numerous maintenance jobs at various businesses in and around the Toledo Bend Lake area. He took great pride in his work and enjoyed what he did for employment. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lena Dickerson; his brothers, Leroy, Don, and Glen Dickerson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leola Sepulvado Dickerson of Benton, LA; his sons, Jason Dickerson (Stacey Adams) of Haughton, LA and Robert S. Dickerson of Zwolle, LA; his daughter, Connie Dickerson Ammons of Shreveport, LA; his two brothers, Richard and Joe Dickerson both of Shreveport, LA. In addition, he also leaves behind seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Honoring Mr. Dickerson as pallbearers will be Jonathan Ammons, Clayton Dickerson, Dimitri Sepulvado, Lane Bush, Jimi Durmon, and Wilbert Sepulvado. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Dickerson, and Darryl Sepulvado. The family would like to give a special thank you to Colonial Oaks Guest Care Center, Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home, New Freedom Fellowship Church, and Reverend Dean Hillman for everything you all have done to help during the loss of our loved one.
