Robert Faye Ellis

Robert Faye Ellis went to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 4, 2016. A memorial service celebrating the life of Robert F. Ellis will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Church of Christ-North, 3401 North Market St., Shreveport, LA. Officiating the service will be Gary Knighton. Robert was born on April 29, 1938 in St. Joseph, LA. He was a devout member of his church, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He spent most of his time engaging in family activities and being around his grandkids as much as possible. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, his parents, June and Juanita Ellis, and brother, June Wade (J.W.) Ellis. Robert is survived by his sons, Robert, Chris, and Matthew and wife Jamie Ellis; daughter, Lela E. Robichaux and husband Tilden J.; grandchildren, Blake, Lauren, Holly, Gunnar, Ethan, Paxton and Abigail Ellis; and Trenton Robichaux; and great-grandchild, Jack Frank; brothers, Frank Ellis, Gary Ellis and wife Diane; and sister, Shelia Hendrix.
