Robert E. Hendrix

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Robert Eugene Hendrix, 84, will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Mark Morell. Interment will be at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, LA at 2 p.m. with United States Marine Corps honors. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Robert was born December 29, 1930 in Haughton, LA to Bernie Hendrix and Lavina Kathryn Inabet Hendrix and passed away June 28, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired as a Gunnery Sergeant. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Bernie Hendrix. Robert is survived by sons, Michael Hendrix and wife, Charlene of Bossier City, David Hendrix of Shreveport; daughter, Cheryl Hendrix Wolf and husband, John of Shreveport; grandchildren, Chelsea Hendrix, Kathryn Hendrix, Kera Hendrix, Christopher Hendrix, Kimala Davis and six great grandchildren.
