BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Robert Leonard McCain will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Randy Harper, pastor of Bellaire Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 2 p.m. Robert was born June 3, 1922 in Ashland, LA to Bob Lee McCain and Lennie Rowe McCain and passed away July 14, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the oil field as a tool pusher. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Todd Sistrunk and great grandson, Case Foster Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Margie Foster McCain; daughters, Betty Dark and husband, John, Billie Thomas and husband, Dale and Debra Fabre; grandchildren, Trey Thomas, Clint Sistrunk, Robby Thomas, Cody Thomas, Brandy Fabre Hicks, Josh Fabre; 11 great grandchildren and sister, Jean Saxon. Honoring Robert as pallbearers will be Trey Thomas, Robby Thomas, Cody Thomas, Josh Fabre, Tate Thomas, Clint Sistrunk, Stetson Sistrunk and Sean Thomas. The family suggests memorials to the Bellaire Baptist Church Building Fund, 4330 Panther Dr., Bossier City, LA 71112.
