Robert A Mewborn

A graveside memorial service will be held for Robert Alton Mewborn, age 79, at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, January 9, 2014, at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Mt. Lebanon. Bro. Ellis Sams will officiate. A visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service. Mr. Mewborn was born February 12, 1935, in Franklin Parish to Robert and Flora Mewborn. He entered into rest on January 7, 2015 at his home in Mt. Lebanon. Robert was a member of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Arcadia. He is preceded in death by his son Robert Mewborn, brothers Fulton, Allen Ray and Willmer Mewhorn and sister Annett. He is survived by his wife Shirley Mewborn of Mt. Lebanon, sons Charles Mewborn of Lufkin, TX, Roy Mewborn of Nacogdoches, TX, Joe Eastman of Arcadia and Dalton Eastman of DeRidder, daughters Kathy Freeman of Woodville, TX and Oundra Eastman of Mt. Lebanon, by sister Eutha of West Monroe, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and by a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Joe Eastman, Bubba Eastman, Steve Stroud, Aaron Clark, Erick Rigdon and Kory Wilson.
