A memorial service honoring the life of Robert Pender, 67, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor James Gstohl. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Robert Pender was born August 12, 1953 to John Earl and Evelyn Dunn Pender and passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Robert graduated from Elm Grove High School. He worked for many years as a welder. Robert was an avid bowler and fisherman. He enjoyed watching the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. Most of all, Robert loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his father and brother, Rodger Dale Pender.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother; brother, Ronald Earl Pender and wife, Brenda; nephews, Chris Pender, Ronald Pender, Jr.; nieces, Shelly Pender Matthews and Shena Pender Procell; and goddaughter, Amber Kincaid.

Serving Robert as honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Johnson, Tommy Key, Jeff Mathews, Damon Johnson and David Johnson.
