Memorial services for Robert Jackson Posey will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Minden West Chapel with Rev. Bill Crider officiating. Robert was born February 2, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest December 26, 2014 in Minden, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Elsie Posey and grandson Keith Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Modesta Posey of Minden, Louisiana, son Charles Posey and wife Leslie of Stonewall, daughters Saralyn Johnson of Minden, Joyce Posey of Salt Lake City, Utah, sister Beth Wesson of Minden, grandchildren Kelly Herndon, Myles Herndon, Justin Johnson, Karlissa Couron, Lea Posey, and great-grandchildren Evan Herndon, Oliver Herndon, Sally Herndon, Hannah Johnson, and Noah Johnson.
