Funeral services for Robert Earl Salter will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Barry Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Robert was born August 9, 1930 in Bryceland, Louisiana and entered into rest May 17, 2015 in Bossier City, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife Edna Ruth Turner Salter of Minden, son Steve Salter of Minden, daughter Debra Kay Ashley and husband Mike of Minden, sister Shirley Ann Chandler and husband Charles of Homer, grandchildren Clay Ashley, Christina Salter, Brandon Waters and five great-grandchildren.
