He was born December 30, 1942 in Tallulah, LA to Chrystine Zeigler Scruggs and Ben Mayo Scruggs and passed away January 27, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. "Bobby Scruggs" our father is a man, who was loved by everyone! He has touched so many lives throughout his lifetime and tried to help everyone who might have needed it. Bobby was very genuine and quite the "charmer". He worked for himself for most of his life, and was able to sustain for many years and do well. Bobby loved his family; there was nothing he would not do for them or anyone else for that matter. He was very charismatic with others, he wanted people to be able to say good things about him and trust his word. I think he did that, seemingly by all the great people that loved him dearly. The Heavens have received one heck of an Angel. Bobby also loved L.S.U. Football "Go Tigers"!
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Myra McKinley Scruggs of Shreveport, LA; sons, Trey Scruggs of Shreveport, LA and Todd Scruggs of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Suzanne Scruggs-Rimmer of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Destine Rimmer, Hannah Rimmer, Katelyn Scruggs, Corbyn Scruggs and Layla Scruggs; brothers, Steve Scruggs of Lafayette, CO and Ronnie Scruggs of Longmont, CO.
Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be Trey Scruggs, Jake Oliver, Lance Wilkerson, Jeff Miller, Sr., Kyle Kilpatrick, Chris Mosley, and Brandon Burr. Honorary pallbearers will be "All of Us" They all loved our father.
