Robert Smith

A memorial service honoring the life of Robert Walter Smith 75, of Many, LA will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Lakeside Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Craft will officiate. Robert was born on September 2, 1938 in Columbus, LA. He entered into eternal rest at Sabine Medical Center on July 13, 2014. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge #236. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp for 21 years until his retirement as a Lt. Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents James Pinkney and Mildred Speight Smith; and brother James Wyatt Smith. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Karen Smith of Many,LA; son Craig Eric Smith and wife Tracy of Many, LA; daughter Nicole Renee Nuss and husband Edward of Metairie, LA; grandchildren Matthew Smith, Stephen Smith, Morgan Nuss, Amanda Nuss; great-grandchildren Conlan Smith, Trinity Smith, Kira Smith, Kinslea Smith, Klayton Smith; and a host of extended family and friends.
