Roger D. Richardson, 74, was born on May 24, 1946 in Morton, Mississippi and passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Roger was a handy man, working as a mechanic and carpenter throughout his career, eventually retiring from Swan Lake Hardware.
Roger is preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Easterling Foster. He is survived by his wife, Seal Marie Richardson; sons, Donald Cecil Richardson and Gary Wayne Richardson; daughter, Janice Richardson Fricks and Deborah June Richardson; sisters, Jeannette Trichel and Alma Trichel; three nephews; two nieces; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Heart Association, 10 Glenlake Pkwy NE South Tower Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30328.
