Roland "Bo" Cooper

  Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Roland "Bo" Cooper, 72, will be at 11:00 AM Monday, February 6, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Thumper Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Bethsadia Cemetery in Many, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 5:00 till 9:00 PM. Roland was born on March 30, 1944 in Many, LA to Amos M. and Nola Cooper and entered into rest on February 3, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Preceding Roland in death were his parents, Amos M. and Nola Cooper; brothers, Jerry Cooper, Cary Wayne Cooper, and Doyle Cooper; sisters, Ellen Janet Arabie; brother-in-law, Edward Arabie. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Sylvia Cooper of Mansfield, LA; son, Scott Cooper of Mansfield, LA; daughter, Stephanie Lopza of Miami, FL; brothers, Victor Cooper and wife Wanda of Lake Charles, LA and Tommie Cooper and wife Gayla of Moss Bluff, LA; sister, Rosie Cangelose of Mansfield, LA; sister-in-law, Jean Cooper of Alto, TX; grandchildren, Dalton Clark and Michael Clark and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Those honoring the life of Roland as pallbearers will be Jack Creel, Ronnie Land, Raymond Steward, Dana Deas, John Denton and Tommie Craig.
