Ronald W. "Ron" Adams

Funeral services celebrating the life of Ronald W. Adams will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Yellow Pine Church in Sibley, Louisiana with Pastor Joe Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at Yellow Pine Church in Sibley, Louisiana, Friday, May 3, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.

Ron was born September 22, 1954, in Minden, Louisiana and left this earthly life at home May 1, 2024, in Sibley, Louisiana. He was a member of Yellow Pine Church in Sibley, Louisiana where he led the worship service for over 20 years.

Ron was preceded in death by his fathers, Leon Adams, Sr. and Walter Walker, Mother, Margie Rene Pair Adams Walker, brothers, Lonnie Adams and Richard Adams, and sister, Rosilind “Tinky” Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene L. Adams of Sibley, sons, Ben Adams of Minden and Luke Adams of Minden, stepdaughters, Michelle Reyes of Longview, Texas, Sarah Sutton of Denver Colorado, Katy Wynn of Kilgore, Texas, Kelly Brackeen and Wendy Sutton both of Longview, Texas, fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Christian “Ty” Adams, Bradley Adams, Isaac Taylor, Adam Hilton, Justin Aaron, and Claude Toney.
