Ronald Dean Crain, Jr.

Funeral services honoring the life of Ronald Dean Crain, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Paul Zimmerman of St. Paul Church in Haughton, Louisiana. Visitation will take place at 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel. Interment will immediately follow the service in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Ronald Dean Crain, Jr. was born May 6, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland to Ronald and Virginia Crain and passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 in Longview, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Schardt Crain; grandparents, Henry and Vera Schardt; nephew, Steven Jones; and aunt, Carol Crain. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Sharon Crain; father, Ronald D. Crain; sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Jones and husband, Alan and Lynne Wiley and husband, Scott; uncle, Marvin Crain; mother-in-law, Merlene Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Barney and Hank. Honoring Ronald as pallbearers will be Sam Jones, Mark Jones, Daniel Jones, Alan Jones, Ryan Wiley and Scott Wiley.
