Funeral services celebrating the life of Ronnie C. Brian, SR, age 63 of Vivian, LA will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Vivian Church of the Nazarene, 1517 N. Pine Street, Vivian, LA with Pastor John Ford officiating with Pastor Sherrill Stiles assisting. Interment will follow in the Vivian Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation at the church from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
Ronnie was born on September 17, 1956 in Vivian, LA to Tommie Brian, SR and Naomi Seabolt Brian and went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 2, 2020 after a sudden illness. Ronnie was a faithful, God-fearing man with a great love for the Vivian Church of the Nazarene where he served as the Sunday School Superintendent for several years. You could always find him at the church volunteering his time for his Lord. Ronnie was a hardworking man who provided for his family unselfishly. His Lord, his wife, his children and especially his grandchildren were the love of his life and brought him great joy. Ronnie enjoyed playing hours of basketball, church league softball and coaching Little League T-Ball with his wife. He loved listening to 70's music and if you ask his grandchildren they would say "Papaw has a song for everything".
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tommie Brian, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Therisa Kendrick Brian of Vivian, LA; son, R. J. Brian of Vivian, LA; daughters, Jamie Brian and fiancé, Charles Evans of Vivian, LA and Aubrey Bohannon and husband, Dustin also of Vivian, LA. Ronnie is also survived by his grandchildren, Adam Spikes, II, Aryn Spikes, Trent Tarter and Owen Bohannon; his brothers, Clifton Brian, Doug Brian and wife, Jeanine, Dannie Brian and wife, Renee and Randy Brian and wife, Pam all of Vivian, LA.
Honoring Ronnie as pallbearers will be James Festervand, Ronnie Smith, Jimmy Ashby, Adam Spikes, II, Trent Tarter and Owen Bohannon.
