Ronnie B. Roach, age 76, was born August 8, 1947, in Alexandria.  LA, to Arnold B. and Alice Lowery Roach. He entered into rest on March 12, 2024, in Homer, LA. He  graduated from high school and enlisted in the U.S. Navy to serve the country he loved during the Vietnam War. Ronnie enjoyed working with horses as a cowboy on a ranch in west Texas. He was employed by Brown and Root as a welder working on land and in the gulf. Ronnie was also a local and cross-country truck driver. He was an amazing dad, grandfather and great-grandfather who was always willing at the drop of a hat to lend a hand to his friends and neighbors whenever needed. Ronnie was a willing and competitive fishing partner whether it was in a pond, lake or river. He could cook up the best ham in the world. Ronnie will be greatly missed by all. A private service will be held for Ronnie at a future date.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Tammy Colvin Hammons.

He is survived by his partner in life and love, Mary Colvin; daughter, Amie Colvin Perryman and husband Stanley; grandson, Ryan Colvin; great-grandson, Stetson Colvin; and many friends.
