Ronnie Roscoe Tibbit

A graveside service for Ronnie Roscoe Tibbit, 84, will be held of Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd., Keithville, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Chad Hardbarger.

Ronnie was born on August 28, 1938 in Many, Louisiana to Roscoe and Ruth Tibbit and passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Ronnie was a resident of Blanchard. He graduated from Fair Park High School and was an accomplished woodcarver. He retired as a Criminal Minute Clerk in Caddo Parish. He was married to the love of his life, Jean, for 57 years. He loved the Lord and his family and was active in his church serving on various committees.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Tibbit and his son, James Brian Tibbit. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Keith Tibbit and wife, Amy; daughter-in-law, Lynn Tibbit; sister, JoAnn Bamburg and husband, R.L.; and grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Anne Alease and Clayton.

Honoring Ronnie as pallbearers will be Alex Tibbit, Andrew Tibbit, Clay Tibbit and Randy Terrell.
