Rosa Claudette Evans

SHREVEPORT, LA - A Celebration of Life service for Rosa Claudette Evans, 80, will be held at 9:00 a.m. on December 31, 2015 at Rose Park Baptist Church, 5560 Buncombe Road, Shreveport, LA 71129. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Dr. Rocky Maddox will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Claudette was born on December 28, 1934 in Caddo, OK to Buford and Lura Kennedy and passed away just one day shy of her birthday on December 27, 2015. She was a faithful member of Rose Park Baptist Church. Claudette was preceded in death by her parents Buford and Lura Kennedy, and her husband Billy Ray Evans. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeff Evans and wife, Cheryl, Joel Evans and wife, Leslee and daughter, Juanell Evans Flanagan and husband, John; seven grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Kennedy and wife, Rosalyn, and Kenneth Kennedy and wife, Catherine, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the Doctors, nurses, and staff at Garden Park Assisted Living for all the care, love and support they gave to Claudette.
