Rose Dale Jordan

SHREVEPORT, LA - A Memorial service for Rose Dale Kinman Jordan will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with visitation to follow. Rev. Steve Gilley will be officiating. "Rosie" was born in Choudrant, LA on June 23, 1931 to a family of four fun loving brothers. They were Eugene, Durwood, Foggie, and Lemoine Kinman. Her parents were Mr. & Mrs. Jessie E. Kinman. She married Harold Knotts of Ruston in 1951. They had three children, Arnold and Steve, who are both deceased, and Bettye Knotts Pippin Bollman of Minden. Rosie later married her loving husband, George Jordan of Keithville in 2000. Six grandchildren, Deidre Louise Pippin (deceased), Patricia Pippin Hughes of Bossier, Amy Pippin Morvant of Shreveport, Brittnee Pippin Ford of Bossier, Archie Pippin, Jr. of Minden, and Kristi Knotts Schwegel of Shreveport. Two wonderful great-grandboys, William Allen Morvant and James Phillip Morvant of Shreveport. Loving son-in-law, Greg Bollman and grandsons-in-law, Eric Hughes, Josh Morvant, and Adam Ford. Deceased son-in-law, Rev. Archie A. Pippin, Sr. George's boys are Ed Jordan of Keithville, Joe Jordan of Michigan, Gary Jordan of Corpus Christi, (Marvin Jordan and James Jordan, both deceased). She had a host of nieces and nephews. Mammal lived in her home in Shreveport until she succumbed to a short illness on December 9, 2015 at 84 years old. She loved her church, Calvary Baptist and had many friends, especially Jean Kelly.
