Rose Marie was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 28, 1929. She lived her early years in Shreveport and Bossier City where she graduated from Bossier High School in 1946. Then she moved to Houston, Texas with Art, her second husband, and began traveling this country for 13 years in a fifth wheeler. They loved seeing this country and made it a point to visit all 50 states. In her later years, she moved back to Shreveport. She was a member of Providence Road Baptist Church and an avid Skip Bo player with her sweet lady friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Earl Lauhon; brothers, Carl Lauhon and Jim Lawhon; first husband, Joseph Davis Bannon, Jr.; and second husband, Arthur Joseph DeLaune, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Paul Davis Bannon and wife, Janell; daughter, Bonnie B.
