Our sweet precious Momma/Nana was called home to be with her Lord on March 10, 2025 after a brief illness.

Rosemary Chamberlin Campbell was born September 4, 1934 to Vincent McNeil Chamberlin and Cecile Young Chamberlin, in Rambin, Louisiana. She grew up in a tight knit community, with her two brother’s and one sister. Her parents owned a grocery store that she worked in during her teenage years. After graduating Pelican High School, she attended Northwestern State College, where she earned her teaching degree. In 1952 she was crowned Louisiana FFA Queen. She didn’t teach, but a few short years, when she met and married the love of her life, Loren “Buster” Campbell. Together they had four sons and one daughter. They made their final home in Doddridge, Arkansas. She then was a homemaker and raised their family beside her husband as he owned and operated the family business Campbell Helicopter Service. They enjoyed throwing annual Christmas parties for family and friends. Through the years they attended Helicopter conventions, her favorite spot was Las Vegas. She was a classy lady who loved dressing up, eating good food, drinking good wine, and playing the occasional slot!

A mother of an intellectually disabled daughter (Lori). She was always active with C-BARC, volunteering and holding parties for the residents in her home.

She was an avid dog lover. Especially of Grover, Pepper, and Cujo and really any of the many strays that turned up. In her pastime she loved to read. She was a longtime and faithful member of Saint Clements Catholic Church in Vivian, La., where she created lifetime friendships.

Rosemary is proceeded in death by her parents: Vincent McNeil Chamberlin and Cecile Young Chamberlin. Brothers Benjamin H. Chamberlin and V.M Chamberlin Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Elinor “Punkin” Chamberlin Fountain (Joe) of Spring, Tx Brother Michael Chamberlin (Beverly) of Texas. son, Mark Campbell (Helen) of Shreveport, La. son, Vincent “Bubba” Campbell of Blanchard, La. son, David Campbell of Benton, AR. daughter, Loren (Lori) Campbell, Holy Angels, Shreveport, La and son John Campbell of Doddridge, AR. Grandchildren. Misty Hamilton, Kristy Norsworthy, Chris Campbell, Eric Campbell, Ashley Campbell, Brooke Campbell, Carly Campbell, Dakota Campbell, Katie Harris, Madison Saulsbury and Jacie Campbell. She is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grands.

Honoring Rosemary as pallbearers will be Damian Chamberlin, Chris Campbell, Scot Hamilton, Ashton Hamilton, Mike Norsworthy, Brennen Norsworthy. Honorable pallbearers Joe Fountain, Steven Fountain, William Fountain.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Holy Angels.

A very special thank you to granddaughter Kristy Norsworthy for all the special love and care you gave our Nana during her last days.

A private graveside service for Rosemary will be at Campbell Cemetery. A celebration of life date will be provided later.

Go Rest High on that mountain Momma/ Nana. We love you always.
