Bossier City, La- A funeral service for Rosie Lelamae Ramey, 81, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Baptist Tabernacle. Officiating will be Reverend Steve Lewis and Bro. Joshua Lewis. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside.
Rosie was born on September 1, 1933 to Abraham Lincoln and Clara Antnet South Hays. She passed away peacefully on December 20, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Alton Ramey, son, Alton Richard Ramey, and granddaughter, Sarah Theresa Lewis. She is survived by sons, Steven Ramey, and Terry Ramey and wife, Vickie, daughter, Jan Lewis and husband, Steve, 11 grandchildren, and siblings, Julie Churchill, and Sam Hays.
Serving as pallbearers for Rosie is Nathan Lewis, Jonathan Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Justin Myers, Matthew Ramey, and Chad Ramey.
