Roxanne Lea

Coushatta, LA- On May 22, 2017, Roxanne Lea went to her forever home. Roxanne was born November 18, 1957 to her parents, Dewitt and Bobbye Lea. Roxanne enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved dancing, riding motorcycles, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Meeting her in Heaven were her parents, Dewitt and Bobbye Lea: brother, Talmadge Lea; sister, Carol Sue Lea; grandparents, Ed and Clevie Kennington and Huey and Gladys Lea; niece, Barbara Lea; and great-nephew, Ethan Jones; two special aunts, Sue Kennington and Erma Holley; and her fur baby, Mulonie. She leaves her daughter and husband, Tonya and Joey Mangham; her grandchildren, MacKenize and Taran Smith, James "Bubba" Settle, Austin Settle and Amber Settle whom she loved beyond words; Taran Smith, Jr. and Tripp Smith, her great-grandchildren, who owned her heart; special uncle, Basil Kennington; cousins, Donna and Don Ortego, Barney and Barbara Kennington, Jim and Dianna Holley, Reggie and Robin Green, Leisa Holley and Randall Kennington and Pat Whilhite; very special friends, Anna Slatten, Bobbett and Gary Protho, Gina and George Nichols, Kellie Jones and Jan Jones; and special caretaker and friend, Kenyatta Crawford. The wish for her pallbearers are Taran Smith, Sr., James "Bubba" Settle, Austin Settle, David E. Lea, Kerry Giouard and Bobby Giouard. Honorary pallbearers are J. D. Kennington, Don Ortego, Robert McMillian and Gary Protho. Celebration of life and going home service for Roxanne Lea, 59, was held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta, LA at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wiley Cole officiating. Interment followed at Holley Springs Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta, LA from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM. .
