Funeral services for Roy A. Copeland will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Minden Presbyterian Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Phil McLarty and Rev. Tony Angell officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with military rites. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Roy was born June 28, 1948 in Decater, Indiana and entered into rest January 6, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a member of Minden Presbyterian Church, past member of Minden Jaycees, Minden Lions Club, and a lifetime member of VFW. His mother Mary Provaznik, father Joe Copeland, in-laws Shorty and Pat Long, and brother Leroy Copeland preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Kathy Long Copeland of Minden, son Tige A.
