Mansfield, LA - Roy A. Love, Sr. age 61 died March 13, 2015. He was born November 19, 1953 in Johnson City, TN. Services honoring Roy Love, Sr. will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield with Reverend Skip Noble officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM. Roy worked several years for Kellogg Brown and Root, and later for International Paper. Roy was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was well known for his quick wit and funny stories. He was preceded in death by his mother Beulah Love, sisters, Eula Mullins and Louise Cook, and brothers, Harry Logan and Gary Love Sr. Also by father-in-laws Sidney Reeves and Red McDonald and brother-in-law Mike Reeves, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Carol Love, sons, Roy Love, Jr. and wife Chelsy and Cody Love and wife Jessica; three sisters Wanda Wilcox and husband Jim, Gail Blakely and husband Ray, and Sherry Spooner and husband Bill; mother in law Evelyn McDonald; sisters-in-law Pattie Mueller and husband Ed and Mary Holcomb and husband Steve; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
