Ruby Joyce Nelson

Mrs. Ruby Joyce Borden Nelson, 70, of Many Louisiana passed away on October 8, 2023, at her residence. She was born to Vernon Borden and Mary Jane (Procell) Borden on August 21, 1953, in Fort McClellan, Alabama.  

Preceding her in death are her father, Vernon Borden. She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane (Procell) Borden of Noble, LA; her husband of 36 years, Mark Nelson of Many, LA; her son, Christopher Scott Lewis of Many, LA; her daughters, Joanna Brown of Negreet, LA, Rose Perry & husband, Michael of Many, LA, and Markie Heater & husband, Mark of Florien, LA; her sisters, Kathy Laroux and husband, Chooch of Zwolle, LA, and Gail Neuhoff of Oregon; her brothers, Joey Borden & wife, Judy of Florien, LA, James Borden of Hemphill, TX, and Dennis Borden of Texas; her eight grandchildren, Destiny Brown, Piper Perry, Pippa Perry, Mary Jane Birdwell, Mack Perry, Michael Perry, Amelia Perry, Remy Perry; and one on the way, Baby Heater; and her great grandchild, Keira Ann Crocker; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
