Coushatta, LA - Celebration of life and going home service for Ruth Louise Gahagan,78, will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta at 2:00 PM with Reverend Billy Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Social Springs Cemetery in Ringgold, LA. Visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Ruth was born April 4, 1938, in Castor, LA, to Claude Raymond and Annie Mae Davis and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 1, 2016, in Coushatta, LA
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Floyd Gahagan, great-grandchild, Caleb Mangham.
Left to cherish her memory are son, John Gahagan of Chandler, TX; daughter, Tammy Woodard and husband, Keith of Ringgold, LA and Peggy Wallace and husband, Randy of Castor, LA; grandchildren, Chad Woodall and wife, Charity, Brandi Mangham and husband, Ray, Dakota Wallace, and Kendall Wallace; great-grandchildren, Wayne Mangham, Joe Mangham, Madison Woodall, Marissa Woodall, and Chase Woodall; other relatives, George and Myrtis Cockerham of Shreveport, LA and the Delaney Family of New Orleans, LA; nieces, Linda Woodall of Hall Summit, LA and Diane Mason of Shreveport, LA; nephew, Michael Waters of Hall Summit, LA; special friends, Pat Myers, a life-long friend of Castor, LA, and Ronnie McGee of TX.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Woodall, Dakota Wallace, Ray Mangham, Michael Waters, George Woodall, and Brad Fairchild. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Wallace, Keith Woodard, Jerry Jordan, and Wayne Mangham.
