Arcadia - Graveside services will be held for Ruth Anne Poole, age 70, at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Bear Creek Cemetery. Bro. Kelly Leech will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to service. Ruth Anne was born May 2, 1946 in Shreveport to John and Betty Jo Cherry. She passed away Tuesday, August, 8, 2016 in Arcadia. Ruth Anne is preceded in death by her husband John H. Poole, siblings James Wade Cherry, Linda K. Cherry, Newell Cherry and Billy Cherry. She is survived by her daughter Tanya Mayeux and husband Sam, siblings John R. Cherry, Charles H. Cherry, David L. Cherry, Ralph Cherry, Gledna Cherry, Kenneth W. Cherry, Betty Martin, Patsy Jo Brown, Ester Lee Carr and William B. Cherry, and by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Nathan Cherry, James Nathan Cherry, Cody Adkins, Randall Cherry, Chad Cherry, Billy Joe Cherry, Jr. and David Jason Cherry.
