Ruth Theriot

Funeral Services honoring the life of Ruth Theriot will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Cathedral of Saint John Berchmans' St. Michael's Chapel, 939 Jordan St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father Peter Mangum. Visitation will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow the service at Forest Park Cemetery Mausoleum, 3700 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Ruth Theriot was born January 14, 1928 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Elisha and Pearl Duvall and passed away, March 18, 2021 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Ruth worked for many years as a waitress and cashier at Shreveport's beloved George's Grill. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Gabriel Theriot. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gabriel Theriot, Jr, Bill Dulworth, Phillip Dulworth, Bobby Seymour, and Frankie Anderson; sisters, Mary Downey, Frances Wilson, Evelyn Hunter and Jessie Gorbet; brother, Jerry Don Duvall; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
