Funeral services for Ruth Cox Timmons will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Ronnie Whitlock officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Ruth was born June 12, 1932 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest November 10, 2015 in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Merrell Timmons and son-in-law Jesse Quinnett. She is survived by her son Johnny M. Timmons of Houston, Texas, daughters Phyllis M. Patton of Bossier City, Margaret E. Davis of Bossier City, grandchildren Trey Patton of Minden, Jacob Patton of Bossier City, Ricky Acosta of Arlington, Texas, Barbara Ann Douglas of Arlington, Texas, Melissa Boyd of California and ten great-grandchildren.
