Sally Morgan

A service to celebrate the life of Sally Ann Tyler Morgan will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Coushatta with Dr. Nathan Davis presiding, assisted by Truett Brown and Buster Page. Interment will follow at Springville Cemetery in Coushatta, La. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.

Sally was born on August 27, 1932 and passed from this life on September 30, 2017. She was married to Billy Don Morgan with whom she had three daughters. Sally was a faithful and long time member of First Baptist Church in Coushatta, La. She retired from Tyler Insurance Agency after 35 years of dedicated service.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Billy Don Morgan; her parents Will and Otha Tyler; sisters Bettie David, Wilma Jones, and Grace Jones; Brother-in-law Roby Jones; Son-in-law Rick Branch.

Survivors include her daughters Donna Branch, Christy Kimmons and husband Otis, Stacey Warren and husband Jerry; grandchildren Morgan Hinds, Anna Crenshaw, Leanne Parker, Shelby Dickerson, and Stephen Craig Dickerson; eight great grandchildren; Brother-in-law Glen Jones; numerous nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren, who all held aspecial place in her heart.

Honoring Sally as pallbearers will be Dewayne Parker, Ronnie Walters, Tyler Jones, Winn Almond, Will Almond, and Adam Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Jones, Tommy Glen Jones, R. L. Walters, Bill Jones, Butch Huckabay, Otis Kimmons, and Jerry Warren.

Special heartfelt thanks to Dr, Alan Borne, the staff at the Bloom of Bossier, Regional Hospice, and Heritage Manor Stratmore for their compassionate and dedicated care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Springville Cemetery Association, First Baptist Coushatta, or charities of your choice.
