Samuel Festervand was born in Vivian, LA on August 26, 1953 and passed away on August 2, 2020 in Bossier City, LA.
Sam was a resident of the Vivian CBAC group home from 1986 until 2017. He always had a friendly greeting for everyone he met.
Sam preceded in death by his parents, Gertie Floyd Festervand and Wilton D. Festervand. He is survived by three sisters, Mary Jo Brownlee and husband, Gene, Carol Rogers, Frances Collins and brother Roger Festervand and wife, Lynda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Vivian, LA. Officiating will be Rev. John Ford, pastor of the Vivian Church of the Nazarene.
