Samuel A. Kelly

Samuel A. Kelly was born on February 13, 1935 in Bossier City, LA to Johnnie Mae and Plennie Kelly and passed away suddenly on January 5, 2018 at the age of 82. He honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, P.M. Kelly, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Katherine M. Kelly; son, Leslie W. Kelly; step-son, Kirby D. Johnson; brother, Kenneth \"Mud\" Kelly; and granddaughter, Treasure Winters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel, with Brother Billy Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Honoring Samuel as pallbearers will be Rick Raney, Aaron Poole, Ashton Poole, Donald Southerland, Kenneth Wayne Kelly, and Kameron Kelly. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Michael \"Catfish\" Phillips, John Freeman, Matt Carrol, David Brian, Cody Woods, and Gary Pohlman.
