Sara W. Miller

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Sara W. Miller, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Marshall St. Officiating will be Dr. Larry Williams with special music by Marie Durham. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Sara was born on July 22, 1928 and passed away on September 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, H. Paul Miller, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, H. Paul Miller, Jr. and Bill P. Miller; daughters, Pennye D. Marr and Paula M. Molaski; sister, Jo Galloway; she also has 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one niece. Honoring Sara as pallbearers will be David Garrard, Roger Ford, Robert Lope, Patrick Marr, Jeremy Pippen and Josh Pippen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Carter and Charles Fitzpatrick. The family would like to especially thank Joyce Jordan, Royetta Cooley, Dr. Jared Geist, Dr. Amber Shah, the Caregivers at WK Pierremont ICU and all of Sara's friends from Broadmoor Baptist Church for all the love and caring compassion they have shown and given. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Heart Association.
