Sarah Frances Avery

ELM GROVE, LA - Services for Sarah Frances Avery, 88, will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Price. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Rocky Mount, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Frances was born May 31, 1926 in Lumberton, NC and went home to our Lord and Savior on April 9, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. She had a strong faith and lived by Gods direction. Frances was the former owner of Frances' Ceramics in Bossier City and also a former agent for Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company. She enjoyed her retirement years fishing on Toledo Bend Lake, crocheting and reading. Her husband, Allen Avery precedes her in death. Left to cherish precious memories of Frances (Memaw) are sons, James Lawson and wife, Mary of Benton, LA, Harold Lawson and wife, Peggy of IL; sister, Doris Stubbs of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Rebecca L. Stone and husband, Brad, Amanda L. Smith, Jeremy Hodges, Rhea Hodges, Dawn Hodges; 11 great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. Honoring Frances as pallbearers will be Cameron Stone, Howard Smith, Brad Stone, Cody Lawson, Dawn Hodges and Damian Byrd.
