Sarah Lynn Coleman

A “Celebration of Life” service for Sarah Lynn Coleman, 40, will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Summer Grove Baptist Church, 8924 Jewella Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Dr. Heath Peloquin.

Sarah was born on November 26, 1981 to Marcus Gene Singletary and Becky Singletary in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on July 19, 2022.

Sarah was a resident of Gloster, Louisiana. She graduated from Southwood High School and went into the business field. She married on September 21, 2002. Sarah loved her husband and children fiercely. Her infectious laughter and smile made it easy for her to pull many pranks on family and friends. She was full of life, always wanting to help others. She was a very hard and loyal worker. She has been the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all of her family.

Sarah is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Troy B. Yopp and Robert Lee Womack; great-grandmothers, Lydia D. Yopp and Alma Luttrell; great-grandparents, Walter H. and Corine Womack; nephew, Matthew Coleman; and uncle, Jack McEntyre. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Keith Coleman; parents, Marcus Gene and Becky Singletary; son, Tanner Chavez; daughters, Kayley Lacobee (Dylan), Shayla Coleman; father and mother-in-love, David and Barbara Kitterlin; sister, Lydia Clouse (Guy); brother, Kevin Coleman (Ashley); grandmothers, Annice Yopp and JoAnne Womack; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
